WELCOME!

City and Rural Rides (CARR) is a rural public transit service operated by Central Texas Rural Transit District (CTRTD). Transportation is available to the general public in our service area. Anyone may schedule a ride to any location in our service area and to limited cities out of our area. CARR can be used for various reasons including shopping, work, beauty shop visits, visiting family or friends, and doctor visits. CARR requires that trips be scheduled one business day in advance by 2:30 p.m. For more information or to schedule a ride, please call 1-800-710-2277. For Deaf/Hard of hearing customers (TTY/TDD) call 1-800-735-2989 or 711 (TTY Relay).

• Office Hours: Monday through Friday – 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

CARR Scheduling Quick-View

• Requests for service are accepted by C.A.R.R. from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday by calling (800) 710-2277.

• To schedule a trip, you must speak with a Customer Service Representative and provide the following information:
passenger name, date of birth, address, phone number, assistance needs, emergency contacts, destination name, destination address, and request time.

• To schedule a Medicaid ride, please call (877) 633-8747
