Public Transit Fare Structure

Fares are based on a one-way trip. A fare per each one-way trip shall be charged to all eligible passengers and their escorts. Except personal care attendants, who may travel with an eligible passenger at no cost. The fare must be paid each time the vehicle is boarded. Forms of payment accepted are cash or check. Currently CTRTD does not accept credit cards.

• 1-5 miles................$1.00

• 6-10 miles..............$2.00

• 11-15 miles.............$3.00

• 16-20 miles.............$4.00

• 21-25 miles.............$5.00

• 26-30 miles.............$6.00

• 31-35 miles.............$7.00

• 36-40 miles.............$8.00

• 41-45 miles.............$9.00

• 46-50 miles.............$10.00

• 51-55 miles.............$11.00

• 56-60 miles.............$12.00

Cash

Fare is charged based upon the fare schedule. All fares must be paid in exact change only. The drivers cannot make change. If trip demand allows a customer may request an added trip to obtain exact change, however no guarantee of on time delivery. A fare will be charged for the additional trip. Failure to do so will result in no service for the trip and the trip will be recorded as a no show.

Pre-paid Fare Passes

CTRTD oﬀers two types of prepaid fare passes, which allow customers to pay for transportation services in advance.

• Prepaid pass cost $20.00.
- As an incentive to purchase customers receive an additional $4.00 in value, for a total balance of $24.00

• Prepaid pass cost $10.00.
- As an incentive to purchase customers receive an additional $2.00 in value, for a total balance of $12.00
