Aviso al público de sus derechos bajo la Declaración de no discriminación del Título VI
El Distrito de Tránsito Rural de Tránsito Central (CTRTD) por la presente da aviso público de que es política de CTRTD garantizar el pleno cumplimiento del
Título VI de la Ley de Derechos Civiles de 1964, la Ley de Restauración de Derechos Civiles de 1987 y los estatutos y reglamentos relacionados en todos los programas y
actividades. . El Título VI exige que ninguna persona en los Estados Unidos de América, por motivos de raza, color, origen nacional, sexo, edad o discapacidad, sea excluida
de la participación, se le nieguen los beneficios o de otra manera sea objeto de discriminación. bajo cualquier programa o actividad que reciba asistencia financiera federal.
Cualquier persona que crea que ha sido agraviada por una práctica discriminatoria ilegal bajo el Título VI tiene derecho a presentar una queja formal ante CTRTD. Cualquier
queja de este tipo debe hacerse por escrito o por teléfono y presentarse ante el Coordinador del Título VI de CTRTD dentro de los ciento ochenta (180) días posteriores a la
fecha del presunto incidente discriminatorio. Los formularios de denuncia por discriminación del Título VI se pueden obtener en esta oficina sin costo alguno para el denunciante

Notice to the Public of your Rights under Title VI Nondiscrimination Statement
Central Transit Rural Transit District (CTRTD) hereby gives public notice that it is CTRTD’s policy to assure full compliance
with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities. Title VI
requires that no person in the United States of America shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability be excluded from the participation
in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.
Any person who believes they have been aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI has a right to file a formal complaint with CTRTD. Any such
complaint must be in writing or by phone and filed with the CTRTD Title VI Coordinator within one hundred and eighty (180) days following the date of the alleged
discriminatory occurrence. Title VI Discrimination Complaint Forms may be obtained from this office at no cost to the complainant by calling 1-800-710-2277. You may
file a complaint by calling 325-625-4491 ext. 905, or 1-800-710-2277, via email to carrmgrs@cityandruralrides.com, or by mail to: P.O. Box 712, Coleman, Texas 76834.

CARR does have a Public Participation Policy, including information about outreach methods to engage minority and limited English proficient populations (LEP). The plan is an attachment as part of the Title VI Program approved by the CARR Board of Directors, which governs activities of the District. CARR has no non-elected committees and councils.
